Ive read my fair share of MC romance books so I was prepared for the macho attitude and I'm badder than bad mentality. Men so protective they kill for the women they love. However the writing was childish so every situation felt forced. What made this novel so bad for me was that both characters were extremely unlikable I couldn't cared less about bash or ravens love life. Raven was the most selfish character I've ever read.Product details

I downloaded this book because it was free - as an author myself and working a 45+ hour a week job, I don't have a lot of time to read. So I don't take the time to buy books - except from a couple of my favorite authors (Steel and Patterson). But I was hooked from the first chapter. The way the Hannigan brothers all interact, along with their sister, Raven - fantastic!
Most MC books are all basically the same - a non-commitment bad-ass guy, falls in love with some sweet girl, they all live happily ever after. Rinse and repeat. So in the beginning, I didn't have my enthusiasm except that it would give me something to pass the time while waiting in line or some other time consuming effort.
Am about to start book #4 - and #2 and #3 were just has fabulous as this one. 5 stars to Terri Anne - this has been very enjoyable and I hope to meet you some day at a book signing event and tell you this in person.
Let me start by saying that MC books are not usually my first "go to" type book. Now I am asking myself why! I am way behind the times in this authors entire series and I have finally started reading. This book is Raven and Bash. Raven has been in love with Bash as long as she can remember but Raven has been off limits to ALL MC members. Eventually Bash decides she is worth the beat down and gets what they both want. They have a sexual chemistry that is off the charts as well as a regular chemistry that enables them to know where the other is and if they are lying or not. They go through a lot of issues. Bash keeps things from Raven because he doesn't know how to tell her, how to do a relationship the right way. It is a struggle and I think with these 2 it will always be a struggle. In this book you also meet Fleicity who is the crossover bridge with the Rockers group. I cannot wait to read her story. You also meet Gracie and Hawk. When introduced to Gracie my heart was in my throat. I really look forward to that one.

This is the first book in the Angel’s Halo series by author extraordinaire, Terri Anne Browning. It is an amazing look at life as a daughter of the founder of an MC and the sister to five older brothers! How can a girl possibly get a break with a family like that? Everyone knows not to look at, touch or show any interest in the first daughter of the club. Raven, however, has eyes for only one brother, the club’s enforcer, Bash and one day he is going to be hers! Bash and Raven’s story will grab you from the beginning with its unique storyline, characters that you will want to get to know and strong sense of family.
Our story takes place in the small town of Creswell Springs. Two things dominate the town, a university and a MC. Both play an important role in the town. The thing that they both do is supply needed revenue for the small community. The club is ruled by Hannigan Family. Their family runs a biker bar and the other brothers run multiple businesses in town. When the ruling President of the club is sent to prison for killing a man, he asks his ex-enforcer to return and assume the position. Bash left Creswell Springs and swore he would never return to MC life. There is only reason that he would ever step back into that life, Raven Hannigan the love of his life. She is the woman that he left behind over a year ago and has regretted leaving ever since.
When Raven finds out that Bash has returned to take over for her brother Jet, her heart is once again breaking apart. It doesn’t matter that he wants her back, is sorry for leaving her none of that matters if he is still keeping secrets from her. Can she trust him, let him in again? Bash is asking for a second chance to prove his love to her.

Would I recommend this book Yes! Sexy, hot muscled alpha male that rides a HOG and wants his woman back! This scenario makes for a really smoking hot read!
Would I recommend this author Yes! Each book that I read by this author makes me more of a fan! Her stories are unique and her characters are well thought out and developed. Ms. Browning is in a class by herself and that is why she is on my must read list!
This is the first book I've read by Terri Ann Browning and I will be reading more. I love MC books and this book was definitely different.
This story focused more on the characters then running of the Motorcycle Club. The story was fast paced and definitely had lots of twists.
What was really a change from other books I've read is the story isn't told from just the hero and heroines point of view but many other secondary characters as well.
The author sets up future books perfectly. She pulls you in so you can't wait to get to the next book.
I loved Raven and Bashes story and the huge twist at the end. The only thing I wish would of been in the book was the beginning of their story. It jumps in after a lil bit after they get together and I just wish we could of been more of their complete story.
